Admission Eligibility

To apply for an MS program at the Virtual University of Pakistan, candidates must have 16 years of education in a relevant field with at least a 2.50 CGPA or first division, and pass the VU entry test with 50% marks. Payment Procedure

The Virtual University of Pakistan's payment procedure requires students to first generate a fee voucher through the VU Student LMS portal after admission confirmation or course enrollment. The voucher can be paid through various channels including designated bank branches (e.g., HBL, UBL), online banking, mobile wallets, or ATMs. After payment, students must retain the receipt as proof.

Admission Procedure

The Virtual University of Pakistan (VU) offers admissions twice a year—Spring and Fall—through an online application process. Applicants must submit scanned copies of CNIC/B-Form, passport-size photo, attested educational documents, and pay a Rs. 500 processing fee. After completing the online form at vu.edu.pk, candidates generate and pay a fee voucher, then email the receipt for confirmation. Admissions are not open for result-awaiting students, and incomplete applications may be rejected. Foreign and dual-national applicants must submit additional documents like visa, passport, and HEC equivalence.

Scholarship Procedure

The Virtual University of Pakistan offers Merit-Based and Need-Based Scholarships to support students financially. Merit-Based Scholarships are automatically awarded to top-performing students—new applicants with at least 65% marks or a 3.0 CGPA and continuing students with a semester GPA of 3.25 and CGPA of 3.0—covering partial or full tuition for one semester. Need-Based Scholarships require students to apply via LMS (for continuing) or at admission (for new students), with eligibility requiring at least 60% marks or 2.5 CGPA, no course exemptions or failures, and they must not be receiving aid from other sources.
